Kardan University's Computer Science Student Becomes the First Ever Microsoft Student Learn Ambassador (MLSA) in Afghanistan

Mr. Nadeem Akhtar Mohmand, Kardan University's Computer Science Student, becomes the first-ever Microsoft Student Learn Ambassador (MLSA) in Afghanistan. After participating in Kardan University's CISCO Lab seminar, Mr. Mohmand applied to the MLSA. The seminar was delivered by Mr. Abdul Jamil, who was already an MLSA from Pakistan, on March 31, 2021. "I am pleased to be an MLSA. There are many events in Microsoft about new technology and opportunities; as an MLSA, I can be a focal point to conduct Microsoft seminars, events, and trainings at Kardan University," said Mr. Mohmand.

He further added, "There are going to be lots of national and international competitions. I will work hard to participate individually or as a team to represent Kardan University in international competitions. In the end, I am thankful to Kardan University, which organized the seminar and guided me on how to apply for the MLSA and followed up the process."

MLSA is a program sponsoring students majoring in disciplines related to technology. The MLSA program enhances students' employability by offering training in skills not usually taught in academia, including knowledge of Microsoft technologies. The program is available in most countries, and all students at the college and university level are eligible to apply. If accepted, Student Partners are assumed to further share the knowledge among the academic community by, for example, arranging courses, giving presentations, and initiating projects.
