On Sunday, September 19, 2024, Kardan University honored its top-performing students from the Spring 2024 semester in the presence of Mr. Khawaja Jamshid Seddiqi, Vice Chancellor (Academics) of Kardan University and distinguished students from both the Master’s and Bachelor’s programs.

Each semester, Kardan University hosts the Distinguished Student Recognition Program to celebrate academic excellence, nurture talent, and inspire students to strive for success. The program acknowledges students who have achieved the highest grades in their courses with Certificates of Appreciation and merit-based scholarships, recognizing their dedication and hard work throughout the semester.

During the event, Mr. Seddiqi commended the honorees for their exceptional efforts, stating, “You are not only among the best at Kardan University, but also among Afghanistan’s finest. Being named outstanding students through such a competitive process is a true testament to your commitment and determination. We celebrate your success and are proud of your achievements.”

The ceremony also provided a platform for students to share their experiences and offer suggestions for enhancing their educational experience at Kardan University. In response, Mr. Seddiqi highlighted the university’s plans to expand extracurricular programs and enhance academic offerings, including the introduction of new undergraduate programs and the launch of a master’s degree program next semester.

At the conclusion of the program, students expressed pride and gratitude for their accomplishments. Abed Arghandiwal, an eighth-semester Business Administration student, shared, “Kardan University has played a pivotal role in my success. Winning this award for the seventh time highlights the value of persistence and goal setting. This moment is meaningful for me, my family, friends, and teachers, whose support has been invaluable.” He encouraged his fellows to believe in their abilities, persevere in the face of challenges, and view setbacks as opportunities for growth.
