Kardan University's Library Conducts a Workshop on How to Write an Effective Essay

Kardan University's Library conducted a virtual workshop through the Zoom application on Wednesday, July 7, 2021, on "How to Write an Effective Essay," designed for the essay competition participants. The participants needed to write a maximum 1500 words essay on "Impact of COVID-19 on Afghanistan's Education Sector" in Dari, Pashto, or the English language and submit them on or before July 12, 2021. Mr. Mahdi Rezai, the Lecturer at Kardan University's Department of Business Administration (BBA), and Mr. Sayed Hamed Sadat, Kardan University's Library Supervisor, jointly delivered the workshop. The participants received inclusive training on the process of essay writing, the structure of an essay, coherence, and plagiarism.

The workshop was designed to help essay writing competition participants write better essays and compete effectively. Participants have submitted their essays on July 12, 2021, to Kardan University's library. "After receiving participants' essays, our expert panel will mark the essays based on their content, clarity, structure, and overall impression. We will provide special scholarships for the top three writers at once as an incentive to help the participants work effectively using different methodologies," said Sayed Hamed Sadat, Library Supervisor.
