Project Management in Practice: A Training from Initiation to Closeout

Kardan University’s Department of Economics and Business Administration (BBA), in collaboration with the Afghanistan Project Management Center (APMC), organized a one-day training on the “Project Management in Practice” on April 11, 2021, for BBA students at the Parwan-e-Du campus.

Students were oriented about the project life-cycle during this workshop, including its initiation, planning, execution, controlling, and closeout. Apart from project life-cyclie, important project management topics, including developing a project charter, creating work breakdown structure, project scheduling, risk management, project stakeholder management, and closing project effectively, were also discussed.

Project management skills help students develop various skills and encompass a wide variety of management skills, including time management, scheduling, budgeting, and resource management. Managing these aspects can help students complete projects faster and more efficiently while producing higher quality output.
