As part of our commitment to achieving SDGs in Afghanistan, particularly SDG4: Quality Education, Kardan University, in collaboration with Afghanistan Chevening Alumni Network, organized an information session on Chevening Scholarships on Thursday, October 08, 2020, in Conference Hall Tiamani Campus.
The session's purpose was to provide awareness about the Chevening Scholarship application procedure, eligibility criteria, and strategies to submit a winning-application to Kardan University students, alumni, and students from other private and public universities.
Mr. Shoaib Ahmad Rahim, President, Afghanistan Chevening Alumni Network, stated, "we are here today to share our experience of applying for this prestigious scholarship and motivate the students interested in studying in the UK through this unique opportunity. Presenting your vision for studying and how it relates to your academic and professional career—and benefits your community should be the core of your essays."
Towards the end, representatives of the Afghanistan Chevening Alumni Network provided comprehensive answers to the participants' questions and encouraged them to pay their utmost effort in winning this scholarship to bring about positive change in their community and country.
