Kardan University signed a Memorandum of Understand (MoU) with the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) Afghanistan on Wednesday, September 30, 2020, at Conference Hall Parwan-e-Du Campus. This MoU aims to develop and expand a cooperation framework between Kardan University and the ICC in Afghanistan. A Special Committee will be formed to enhance collaboration framework to create mutually beneficial programs, activities, and projects related to improving Afghanistan's sustainable socio-economic development.
ICC Afganistan represents Afghanistan's business community globally, and it complements and strengthens the activities of its members worldwide. ICC Afghanistan represents the ICC-world apex business organization in Afghanistan and facilitates the active participation of members organizations, companies, and individuals in ICC's general activities. ICC Afghanistan is the gateway, enabling Afghanistan businesses and industries to access the mind-boggling body of information compiled, analyzed, and interpreted by the International Chamber of Commerce.
"We will further strengthen our cooperation with Kardan University on how to transfer the knowledge and capacity to Afghanistan through academics and educational institutions. This partnership will help us achieve the Sustainable Development Goals, especially SDG8: Decent Work and Economic Growth, and SDG17: Partnership for the Goals. By having a partnership with ICC, we can extend our collaboration in providing the necessary support in gaining practical knowledge and directions for the young entrepreneurs and startup businesses in Afghanistan. Doing so will also lead us to experience sustainable economic growth on different fronts and help the University remain a catalyst for positive change in the community.
