The Sixth Graduation Ceremony – 2018


On Friday, February 16, 2018, Kardan University celebrated its sixth Graduation Ceremony for the bachelor and master programs. Out of more than 1700 graduates from the past two years since 2015, 465 (106 Master and 359 Bachelor) were granted graduation certificates at this event.

The event, which was held at Kabul Polytechnic University’s Gymnasium, was attended by more than 1100 guests including cabinet members, parliamentarians, civil society representatives, public and private sector universities’ leadership, the graduates and their family members.

His Excellency, Dr. Najibullah Khwaja Omary, the Minister of Higher Education, was the guest of honor, who praised Kardan University’s achievements and accomplishments. He emphasized the need for quality higher education for having a prosperous society.

The main component of the event was the distribution of graduation certificates to 465 graduates by the Guest of Honor, Gold medals to Graduates with Academic Excellence and shields of appreciation to special guests, faculty and university employees with outstanding performance.

At the end, Kardan University President, Mr. Roeen Rahmani delivered the closing remarks and reiterated Kardan University’s commitment to not only offering international standard academic programs, but also to competing with its international counterparts on the basis of quality in learning, research and development.
