Kardan University’s Faculty of Economics organized a one-day workshop on Islamic Banking and Finance for the students of MBA, BBA, and BSc. Economics departments.
The seminar was held on Tuesday, November 10, 2019, at the Conference Hall, Taimani Campus. The focus of the session was on 'The Main Products of Islamic Banking and their Comparison with Conventional Banking and Finance.'
Dr. Muhammad Yusuf Saleem, Head of the Islamic Banking and Financial Services Department at the Central Bank of Afghanistan (Da Afghanistan Bank), conducted the seminar.
“We gained a good grasp into Islamic Banking and how it operates in comparison to conventional banking and finance. The session was a great opportunity to learn about the advantages of Islamic financial services and how they can be implemented,” said one participating student.
participating students thanked Kardan University for organizing such seminars, and expressed hope that more such events on different topics are organized in the future.
