Uzma Zaheen Rafat, a MIR student at Kardan University, was recognized for her outstanding academic accomplishments on the occasion of International Students’ Day celebrated at the Ministry of Higher Education (MoHE) on Sunday, November 17, 2019.

Students, both from private and public universities with exceptional academic performances during the fall semester 2019, were appreciated at the MoHE.

Ms. Rafat is the recipient of Kardan University’s 40 Under 40 Awards 2019, where she was recognized for nor only academic achievements, but also her social engagements and extensive volunteer work.

Furthermore, Ms. Rafat is a nominee for the UNDP N-Peace Awards for her active role in promoting women's rights.
