Kardan University recognized the achievements of 40 Under 40 (2019) award winners by organizing a special ceremony. Roeen Rahmani, Chancellor, Mirwais Nahzat, Chief Operating Officer, Heads of Faculties of the University, students and their families had participated in the event.
The selection process of the nominee in the ‘40 Under 40 program is based on students’ performances and their positive impacts on society.
In his speech to the event, Mr. Rahmani said, “It is an honor to be amongst the 40 Under 40 (2019) award winners, and the time has come to appreciate your hard work and achievements. The main purpose of the award is to recognize the performance of those students who have had great accomplishments within a short period of time, and still have the chance to thrive and rise even further.”
Mr. Rahmani added, “You are the best 40 students at the best university in the country. Therefore, I warmly congratulate you and your families on this major achievement. With commitment, perseverance, hard work, and honesty, you can serve your people and country quite well”.
Munir Obaidi, a Business Management graduate said, “I am extremely happy to be among 40 Under 40 awardees and am very grateful to Kardan University for organizing such programs which motivate the young generation to remain in the country and become good role models for others.”
Another award winner, Nabila Latifi, who’s a student of Business Administration stated, the “40 Under 40 Awards” is a unique initiative in which best performers are selected from Kardan University students and alumni, and I have the privilege to be among them.”
The 40 Under 40 Awards initiative was launched in 2016, and the University has been organizing it every year to recognize and appreciate the achievements of its students and alumni in the social and academic arenas.
