Faculty of Economics at Kardan University signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Ariana Afghan Airlines (AAA) on August 6, 2019. The purpose of the agreement is to engage in a mutually productive relationship in order to achieve common goals related to provision of quality higher education and excellent air travel services and strive towards a prosperous Afghanistan.
With a rich history of 64 years in the aviation industry and 17 years in the higher education sector, both Ariana and Kardan University are determined to serve the people of Afghanistan with honesty and integrity. The purpose of this cooperation is to provide economical air travel facility to the staff of Kardan University by providing economical fares on Ariana’s international and domestic flights and facilitation of pursuing higher education for Ariana’s staff by offering discounts on tuition fees to AAA’s staff who desire to study at any of Kardan University’s academic programs.
The Airline will offer a 30% discount on its Y-Class tickets to all Kardan University students, and 50% discount to all instructors and staff of Kardan University on all international and local flights that the airline operates.
The company will also offer internship opportunities for Kardan University students and will work with the Office of Career Services to share employment opportunities and consider Kardan University graduates on a priority basis when they meet the eligibility criteria.
The Memorandum of Understanding was signed by Kardan University’s Dean of Faculty of Economics, Dr. Abdul Moiz and AAA’s Commercial Director, Mr. Khalid Ahmad Noori.
