SDGs Youth Ambassadors Club

Introduction

SDGs Youth Ambassadors Club is a team of 20 brilliant and creative students from undergraduate and graduate programs seeking to promote the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) at Kardan University and their communities. The club organizes and implements campaigns, community services, outreach, and events to raise SDGs awareness and address them in Afghanistan.

Purpose

The club aims to increase the SDGs awareness and the university level and beyond the university and foster innovative ideas to tackle them in Afghanistan. The club activities are designed to advance Kardan University’s sustainability agenda with a focus on reducing poverty (SDG 1), promoting quality education (SDG 4), improving decent work and economic growth (SDG 8), peace, justice and strong institutions, and building partnerships with all of the 17 SDGs (SDG 17).

Registration Process

Please visit the office of Student Involvement and Success in Parwan-e-Du Campus to register for the SDGs Youth Ambassadors Club membership.

Registration criteria

  • Have some written and spoken English language skills
  • Familiarity with sustainability and the SDGs is desirable
  • Experience in voluntary works is desirable
  • Have no disciplinary issues
