Coronavirus (COVID-19) and Kardan University's Response

The safety and health of Kardan University's community is at the forefront of our staff and faculty's thoughts and actions. We hope you are doing your part to mitigate the effects of the COVID-19 virus and taking this pandemic seriously. Since early February, the Kardan University's leadership team has been closely monitoring the rapidly changing circumstances involving COVID-19 and has taken necessary actions to protect our campus community. We are thankful to our community for identifying and implementing a number of required precautionary measures.

Consistent with the Ministry of Higher Education's guidelines, we are committed to enabling our students to start their spring session. Our faculty and instructors are prepared to deliver their courses without in-class instruction. Kardan University is fully prepared to take its teaching and learning activities fully online effective Monday, March 23, 2020. Kardan University’s staff, students, and faculty will continue to use our advanced Learning Management System (LMS), one of the most advanced learning and teaching platforms in the country, along with modern interactive platforms to deliver quality higher education. As we take our classes online, we will facilitate the provision of Internet solutions to our students as we continue our discussions with leading telecommunication firms about provision of quality Internet services to our community across Afghanistan.

At the core of our actions is academic continuity supported by innovative technologies, increased student-faculty interaction, and seamless transition to an online learning environment.

Our faculty members and academic leaders will be reaching out to every student over the coming days to ensure that our students continue to learn and progress in their studies during this transition period. We are confident that these carefully thought initiatives will help our students advance their academic goals and allow us to resume our normal academic endeavors as soon as the circumstances allow. Thank you for your patience and flexibility as we respond to this rapidly changing environment together.

Please check our website for regular updates about the COVID-19 response, and the range of services and initiatives we will be taking in the near future to advance your education.

We are Kardan University, and we are confident that we will do what is in the best interest of our campus community. Together, we can rise to the occasion and shine a light upon a challenging situation. Please take good care of yourself and those around you.
