The Directorate General for Regional Cooperation (DGRC) of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA), in collaboration with Kardan Univesity, organizes a seminar on “The Regional Cooperation in Afghanistan Foreign Policy: The Heart of Asia - Istanbul Process” on Saturday, October 10, 2020, in Conference Hall Taimani Campus.

The Heart Of Asia, Istanbul Process on Afghanistan, commenced on November 2, 2011, to resolve regional issues by increasing economic, security, and political dialogue. The Istanbul Process accelerated cooperation among regional countries on trade, investment, and infrastructure, with special attention to maintaining peace and stability in Afghanistan and resolving regional issues. For building trust among regional countries, the Istanbul Process introduced two kinds of approaches on trade, investment, and the enhancement of cooperation among regional countries on infrastructure.

The Department of Master of International Relations of Kardan University invites interested students to attend this educational event and gain practical insight into the current socio-economic and political affairs that play a critical role in Afghanistan and the region from political experts.
