Academic and Business Writing Course

This intensive (student-centered) course provides the theory and practice of essential day-to-day academic and business writing (both). The topics covered in this course include an introduction to basic writing concepts, and progresses up to intermediate and advanced topics such as report writing and proposal writing.

Eligibility Criteria

Individuals interested to pursue Academic and Business Writing Course at Kardan University must meet the following criteria:

Applicants must possess at least B2 English proficiency in speaking, listening, and reading. Any prior experience in day-to-day business or academic writing is an asset.

Course Materials

  • Comprehensive Slides/Lecture notes will be provided
  • Reference book: Business Communication, Process & Practice (7th Edition), by Mary Ellen Guffey & Dana Loewy (E-book will be provided by the instructor)
  • Additional online resources will be provided for each topic covered throughout the course
