Zabihullah Anwari

Zabihullah Anwari obtained a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from Balkh University in 2012, and he is now pursuing a master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA) at Kardan University.

He started his career with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers project MeS Air Detachment as a Q.C. Engineer in 2011. Currently, Anwari works as General Procurement Manager at the Ministry of Mines and Petroleum.

Mr. Anwari has worked for different Public, Private and International Organizations and established his own Social Enterprise in 2019. He created jobs for 20 local women through various Handicraft and Wool Carding businesses and contributed to women empowerment and poverty reduction in Mazar-e Sharif.

Mr. Anwari has also worked as a Civil Engineer and Community Mobilizer at UNOPS, where he managed several humanitarian and development activities under the Rural Access Improvement Project. He engaged local communities in the road and bridge construction projects in four northern provinces of Afghanistan.
