Nawida Popal

Nawida Popal is a BBA student at Kardan University who also holds a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Shaheed Rabbani Education University.

Ms. Popal started her career as a receptionist with Afghan United Bank in 2007. However, her remarkable performance enabled her to proceed to key positions like Remittance Officer, Credit Officer, and Credit Appraisal Manager.

Currently, Nawida works as Credit Administration & Loan Operations Manager at Agricultural Development Fund (ADF), a well-known agricultural lending institution – where she is responsible for all credit-related administrative activities.

Ms. Popal has played a crucial role in supporting the agriculture sector and field farmers in several provinces of Afghanistan. She also promotes credit awareness among businesswomen and entrepreneurs which is very much needed in the country.

Ms. Popal has volunteered in several women empowerment activities like planning, organizing, and managing women’s agricultural credit shuras. She is the President and an active member of a social support program of ADF named ‘HASSEL Foundation’ aimed to provide direct material support, particularly in food, clothing, and access to medical services to communities in need.
