Curriculum Development Specialist, Equality for Peace and Democracy (EPD)

Mohammad Omar Kamal

Mohammad Omar Kamal holds a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Sciences from Kabul University and is currently pursuing a Master’s Degree in International Relations at Kardan University.

Currently, Mr. Omar works as a Curriculum Development Specialist at Equality for Peace and Democracy (EPD) organization, where he develops content for public awareness, workshops and roundtable discussions in Capacity Building Activity (CBA) project, funded by USAID.

Previously he worked with Kardan University as a Communication Specialist for two years, where he was responsible for managing university’s social media platforms and developing content. He has also worked with Karwan University as an Event and Social Media Manager, and other media stations such as Jahan TV, Jawan TV, 3Sport TV, and Radio Tapesh.

Omar has written more than 100 articles which are published in national and international media platforms. He has attended many interviews as an International Relations Expert/Analyst and Political Activist on national and international media outlets.

Mr. Kamal has an excellent academic background and has won two Academic Excellence Awards.

He is working on a book which is to be published soon. He has a certificate in leadership and management from Afghans for Progressive Thinking and one in climate change from BIRD University of India.
