Ahmad Zia Hakimyar

Mr. Ahmad Zia Hakimyar completed his BSc. Economics degree at Kardan University in 2016. In his more than seven (7) years of professional experience, he has worked in Peacebuilding, Economic Development, and Education sectors with various profit and non-profit organizations. His courage, dedication, and endless passion for Afghanistan made him achieve tangible results in building peace among communities, enhancing the economic status of Afghan families, and providing quality education to Afghan women.

While he was still a student of Economics at Kardan University, in 2015, he established Economy24.org - an online platform which was publishing students' articles and insights on business and economic issues.

After completing his thesis on Knowledge Economy, Mr. Hakimyar found that sustainable development can be achieved through the development, integration, and utilization of a knowledge-based economy. In order to transform his findings into practice and localize the concept of Knowledge Economy, he found/registered his own company with the government of Afghanistan, namely INFINIZY.

Mr. Hakimyar is currently the Program Manager at the American University of Afghanistan, where he is responsible for the development and implementation of educational, economic, and networking programs for Afghan women
