Currently, in his final semester of the BCS program at Kardan University, Mr. Khaliqi has represented Afghanistan in several international events including ICANN-57 (Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers) in Hyderabad, India. He also attended the inSIG (Indian School on Internet Governance) and brought the idea to Afghanistan, organizing the first afSIG (Afghanistan School on Internet Governance) in which he was a keynote speaker also. He recently represented Afghanistan at the MEAC-SIG (The Middle East and Adjoining Countries School on Internet Governance) in Ankara, Turkey. He is the current volunteer president of National Information Technology Professionals Association of Afghanistan (NITPAA) and developed the first social media policy on website for NITPAA. He was nominated to represent NITPAA and Afghanistan at the APRALO 2017 General Assembly in Abu Dhabi.
