Senior IT Manager, Central Bank of Afghanistan

Naveedullah Karimi

Working as Senior IT Manager at Afghanistan’s Central Bank, Naveedullah Karimi has more than seven years' experience in website, database and software development as well as computer networking. He has developed various databases for the Central Bank and was the recipient of the ‘Creative Employee of the Year’ award for 2016. He developed a website for FinTRACA (a department at the Bank), which is prepared in three languages, was recognized by UNAMA as the best among all Afghan Government websites.

Mr. Karimi is the Co-Founder of AfgTechnologies (Website hosting and Development Company) which has delivered more than 24 web hosting solutions, registered more than 35 domains and developed more than 15 websites for different small, medium and large businesses.
He led a team of developers in the ‘Second IT and Engineering Symposium 2017’ held at Kardan University which worked on the project ‘Pashto Optical Character Recognition’. They received a Certificate of Appreciation from the University Management.
