Zuhra Sahar

After completing her BBA from Kardan University, Zuhra Sahar is now pursuing her Master’s in Public Administration from Payam-e-Noor University. Currently working with the Swedish Embassy in Afghanistan as a National Program Officer, Zuhra started her professional career as a volunteer in Badakhshan province.

For the past 16 years she has been working with several well-known development organizations, like UNESCO, UNICEF, ACTED etc, mainly on human rights projects with a focus on women and child rights, education for all and improvement of socio-economic situation for marginalized groups.

Zuhra is the founder and board member of Borna University, which operates in Badakhshan province. She is also an active member of the Civil Society Activists Network.
