Hedayatullah Paktiawal

Hedayatuallha Paktiwal earned a master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA) specializaing in Public Administration from Dunya University. He is currently reading for a second master’s degree in International Relations (MIR) specializing in Peacebuilding and Diplomacy from Kardan University.

Currently, he serves as a Senior Finance Officer at the Ministry of Agriculture, Irrigation and Livestock (MAIL). Mr. Paktiawal plays a vital part in implementing two major programs: Support to National Priority Program and SNAPP2 & Community Livestock and Agriculture Project (CLAP) Funded by the International Funds for Agricultural Development (IFAD).

He has worked in several prominent positions ranging from Finance Assistant, Finance Officer, Budget Specialist, and Senior Finance Officer at national and international organizations (World Bank, Ministry of finance, MRRD, and ADF).

Mr. Paktiawal has 12 years of extensive experience in financial management, project management, accounting and budgeting. He has participated in 15 international conferences and seminars overseas, and he is an active member of capacity for Afghanistan (C4A) Think Tank.
