Mr. Mohammad Wasi Ahmadi

Mr. Mohammad Wasi Ahmadi completed his bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (BCE) at Kardan University in 2014 and obtained a master's degree in Structural Engineering from the University of Exeter in the UK in 2017. He is currently a Ph.D. candidate at the University of Bristol in the UK, and his research focuses on developing novel methods and model structures using measurement data. Mr. Ahmadi has published several research papers on trending technologies in international journals.
Mr. Ahmadi has more than six years of professional experience in the engineering field. He has worked as Structural Engineer at Afghanistan's Ministry of Urban Development and Housing (MUDH). At MUDH, he worked on designing and inspecting various construction projects throughout the country. Mr. Ahmadi is currently working with structural engineering consultancies on the design of building structures. He is also a member of the Institute of Structural Engineers "IStructE" in the UK.
Mr. Ahmadi says his studies at Kardan University have played a vital role in his professional and academic success. "The Civil Engineering program at Kardan university had a very comprehensive structure, which allowed me to apply my knowledge to tackle real-world challenges. It gave me the confidence to even pursue my education to the next level," said Mr. Ahmadi.
His advice to other students and alumni is to participate in every hands-on, experiential learning opportunity at the University. He believes that through this way, you'll have something unique to excel when you graduate, believe in your capabilities, and strive for better ."
