Mr. Tareq Eqtedary
A graduate of BSc. Economics from Kardan University, Mr. Tareq Eqtedary is an ambassador of One Young World in Afghanistan. Currently he is doing his master’s degree in the field of International Relations with specialization in Political Economy. He is the founder and Executive Director of Generation Positive (G+) Organization. At the same time, he is working as Outreach Advisor in Development Alternative Inc. / ALBA project at the Afghan Parliament. Mr. Eqtedary is an energetic, self-starter who thrives and succeeds in multicultural environments. He has great interpersonal skills with over 10 years of experience in different fields with national and international organizations. He has worked as Political Affairs Officer at National Democratic Institute (NDI), as Senior Program Officer with Norwegian Refugee Council (NRC) and as Senior Finance Officer with Afghanistan International Bank (AIB).
Mr. Eqtedary is a member of “Young Leaders Forum” and co-founder of Afghan Anti-Corruption Network and Afghanistan Youth Network. He has organized national conferences, seminars, workshops, and events in the last 5 years. He has represented Afghanistan’s Youth and civil society at international conferences, such as NATO Chicago summit-USA, World justice forum IV- Netherland, and One Young World-Ireland.
