Nargiss Jamal Mushref
Nargiss Jamal Mushref is one of Kardan University’s Law graduates, currently working as Regional Director for Women Empowerment with Development Alternatives, Inc. (DAI) Company.
She has worked with different national and international NGOs and civil society organizations since 2009. Ms. Jamal is a women rights activist, and has been involved in youth advocacy since 2006. She is actively engaged with women and youth in the following areas:
• cooperating with civic leaders who have already had an impact within their communities
• supporting youth and women through mentorship and networking opportunities
• providing capacity building training to support youths through active engagement
• providing gender, advocacy and leadership consultations and trainings
Apart from her advocacy and voluntary activities, Ms. Jamal has a special interest in studying International Relations. She has been conducting a research and has written several articles in this field.
At a personal level, Nargis Jamal is the mother of two children and intends to continue her professional career responsibilities along with raising her children.
