Khushnood Nabizada
Khushnood Nabizada is the founding editor at the Khaama Press News Agency, a news outlet publishing both in English and Dari languages. The media firm was established in October 2010, which has more presence on online channels.
He earned his bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a specialization in Management and Leadership from Kardan University in 2012.
Mr. Nabizada has held leading management positions with different renowned business organizations such as Roshan Telecommunications Company, Insurance Corporation of Afghanistan (ICA), and the Ministry of Urban Development and Land. As a Senior Business Development Executive at ICA, he used to develop marketing and advertisement strategy, and manage overall communications on different platforms. In 2015, he was recognized as the ‘Most Creative Business Executive’ of the year by ICA.
Mr. Nabizada served as Chief of Staff at the Ministry of Urban Development and Land from 2016 - 2019. He was responsible for overall coordination and communications within the ministry’s hierarchy and with other government agencies.
He has also attended several international conferences and workshops in Europe, Canada, South Asia, Russia, and Iran. He attended the NATO Defense Ministerial Meeting 2019, at the NATO Headquarters in Brussels, Belgium. Last November he was a discussion panel commentator at the International Symposium titled “China's 70-Year Development and the Construction of the Community With a Shared Future for Mankind” in Shanghai, China. Most recently, he participated as a media expert in the NATO leaders meeting in London on the 3rd and 4th of December, 2019.
Mr. Khushnood Nabizada is married and has a son and two daughters. In his free time, he enjoys calligraphy and graphic designing.
