Maryam Bahar Sadat

Maryam Bahar Sadat, a Chevening Scholar who is currently doing her second master’s degree in International Conflict at Kingston University London. She did her MBA at Kardan University and has been one of the 40 under 40 award winners during her studies at Kardan University. Recently she received an appreciation certificate from her University in London for her continuous dedication to achieving her scholarship goals.

Maryam did a pre-post graduate degree on Diplomacy and Politics, and her bachelor's degree in Law from Kabul University. She has been actively involved in Women Peace and Security as an Activist and has worked on Women Empowerment and women's political participation in the last 9 years. She has got almost a decade of leadership and management experience with international organizations such as; USAID, EU, and DFID.

Maryam’s ambitious character toward achieving her life goals, made her a leader to other women where she actively became the voice to other Afghan women through several platforms and media networks. She is Canada’s Initiative #FemParl Delegate Alumni, member of Heavenly Culture, World Peace, and Restoration of Light (HWPL), Women’s Political Participation Coalition, PAK-AF Women Peace Exchange Network, Peace House Organization, and Virtual Leadership Development Network.
