Programme overview

Masters in International Law (LLM-IL) is a postgraduate program established in the Faculty of Law. This field focuses on the study of the set of rules and regulations, principles, and legal standards that govern the relations between members of the international community, particularly the subjects of international law, across various domains such as economic, political, cultural, peace, and international security. The necessity and appeal of this discipline are enhanced by the new developments in the international community, through which enthusiasts can access extensive information via mass media such as press, radio, television, and the internet. This program enables students to acquire and strengthen their knowledge about the international community, the United Nations, and its related specialized agencies, as well as the processes involved in the conclusion of treaties, agreements, and memoranda of understanding between countries. It also encompasses the formation of new international organizations and discussions related to peace and security, nuclear energy , domestic and international conflicts, and other topics pertinent to international law.
