CLub Background

Purpose of the Computer Science Club (CS Club) is to generate, advance, and share students’ interests in the Computer and Information Sciences and Technology.

CS club will help students understand up-to-date computer technology, review Current hardware and software products, explore different areas of interest, create a social environment where students with various technology experiences come together, and share information with one another.

The Computer Science Club is open to all students with interest in computing, information technology or computer-related issues.

Major Duties

  • To ensure effective communication of club activities with students
  • To organize programming quiz competitions
  • To contribute to peer mentoring and other relevant engagement initiatives
  • To hold latest trends and technology seminars
  • To prepare club members for national and international competitions
  • To build relationship with other related clubs and societies in order to share ideas and expertise
  • To organize on campus weekly meetingto ensure projects are active and students are involved also to share the outcomes, problems, and approaches.
  • To provide leadership and direction to other club members
  • To delegate responsibilities and work to the other members
