Virtual Seminar: Tax Dispute Resolution Process in Afghanistan and its Implications on Private Sector

Kardan University's Department of Economics held a community educational event virtually on "Tax Dispute Resolution Process in Afghanistan and its Implications on Private Sector" on Sunday, July 18, 2021. The session was facilitated by Mr. Jowhar Masoudie, an Assistant Professor at the Department of Economics who has extensive knowledge in handling online seminars and webinars. 

Abdul Zuhoor Mehran, the Director of Tax Disputes Resolution in the Ministry of Finance, delivered the seminar. Mr. Mehran is a young economist who had completed his Master's in Economics at the Punjab University of India. The seminar was attended by students and participants from the private sector. This is in accordance with Kardan University's commitment to SDG 4: Quality Education and SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals.  

At the end of the session, students and the participants from the private sector asked their questions and shared their concerns. Most of the questions were focused on the procedures, forms, applications, transparency, and credibility of the decisions made in the Board of Tax Dispute Resolution.
