Kardan University celebrated the academic achievements of its students who obtained high marks during the Fall 2020 semester from April 25-29, 2021, at the Conference Room, Parwan-e-Du campus.
Academic Excellence Awards Ceremony is a significant event that recognizes students’ academic achievement during each semester by offering merit-based scholarships and academic excellence certificates. This time 72 students from the University’s nine departments were among the awardees for their outstanding achievements.
“I am feeling proud to be among our talented students and recognize their academic achievements. Considering the numerous challenges that we have confronted during the last semester, including the lockdown, online classes, and socio-economic problems, your efforts are appreciable,” said Roeen Rahmani, Kardan University’s Chancellor.
He added: “During the last semester, we organized more than 100 workshops, seminars, gatherings, conferences, guest speaker sessions, and moot court competitions to provide a better academic environment for our students.”
Law student Sadia Zarifi mentioned the importance of this award after receiving her’s: “The academic excellence award is not only an award, but rather it’s a way to recognize the efforts and competencies of the students. It gives me the motivation to have a better academic performance in the future as well.”
Kardan University is committed to recognizing the merit and offering financial assistance to students at the end of each semester. This has been a practical approach in boosting students’ academic performances and their desire to get quality education in the country’s most recognized educational institution. It also serves as a motivating factor for students to strive and keep accomplishing academic excellence in their future endeavors.
