Kardan University`s Women Volleyball Team Secures Second Position in Kabul City Competitions

By - Kardan University Posted On : 24 August 2015

June 2015 - Kardan University's newly established women volleyball team secured the second position at the Kabul City Volleyball Club competitions.

Kardan University's team was among the five teams competing at the event. The competition brought together Kabul's major women volleyball teams, including the Red Crescent and Kabul Municipality.

While sports and recreational activities for women still remain limited in Kabul, the launch of Kardan University's women volleyball team is expected to encourage other young women to join competitive sports.

This achievement comes at a time when Kardan University is striving to create greater extra curricular activities for the students.

In addition to women's volleyball team, Kardan University has cricket, debating and volunteer engagement clubs with efforts underway to launch the football team.

Interested students may contact the Kardan Career Center to register for the clubs of their choice and become members of the growing student clubs.
