Mr. Roeen Rahmani, Kardan University Chancellor, in a meeting with Dr. Fazel Mahmood Fazly, Director General, Administrative Office of the President (AOP) of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, highlighted the challenges and opportunities in Afghanistan higher education sector on Sunday, August 23, 2020, at the AOP.

Mr. Rahmani appreciated the efforts of the AOP aimed at facilitating the higher education sector in Afghanistan and granted 30 scholarships to AOP staff members to inspire the pursuit of their academic journey across fields at Kardan University.

Dr. Fazly thanked Kardan University for providing the learning opportunity for AOP staff and reiterated that the leadership of AOP is committed to taking substantial steps in facilitating an enabling learning environment and improving the quality of education in Afganistan.

"Getting quality education is the right of every Afghan and will strive to make it happen," Dr. Fazly said.

The General Directorate of the AOP is an independent budgetary unit within the existing political system of the country, under the auspices of H.E the President of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, to work towards strengthening well, transparent, active and corruption-free government operating in accordance with the relevant regulations.
