We are proud to announce the first major initiative recognizing Kardan University’s rising stars. The 40 Under 40 award will be presented to forty students and alumni who are under the age of 40.
Categories:
The Selection Committee will select honorees in the following categories – Leadership, Service, Impact and Academics. Nominees must be exceptional individuals with proven track record, achievements and persistence in their respective fields.
Who Can Apply?
You may not nominate yourself. The awards are designed to recognize exceptional individuals who are making a difference in the lives of others. University’s Staff, faculty members, partners and contractors are not eligible to apply.
Your nominee must meet the following minimum criteria:
- Kardan University’s alumnus or current diploma, undergraduate or graduate student
- Demonstrated achievements in one of the award categories
- Satisfactory disciplinary and academic record at Kardan University
Selection Process
Kardan University’s selection committee will review the nominations and prepare the shortlist of nominees. In the second phase, further information may be collected from the shortlisted nominees. The Selection Committee will make the final decisions based on the input from the University’s leadership and nominee’s references.
Nomination Deadline
Please complete the nomination form. Do not attach any supporting documents. Incomplete forms will not be considered for this competitive process. The forms can be submitted to the info@kardan.edu.af email address or to the Student Services Offices. The deadline for nomination is March 31, 2016 at 6:00 PM. Late nominations will not be considered.
Award Ceremony
There will be an official award ceremony to be held in April 2016 in Kabul. During the ceremony, award recipients will be introduced and granted “40 Under 40” shields of achievement in the presence of national and international media outlets. Detailed profiles of the honorees will also be made available on Kardan University’s website, social media and relevant communications channels.
