Academic Excellence Awards Spring 2025 Held

On Tuesday, September 23, 2025; Kardan University, based on its mission -as a vibrant university, inspiring academic and professional excellence- held a ceremony to honor its outstanding students. The event was attended by the leadership team, deans of faculties, academic administrators, professors, parents of the students, and the outstanding students themselves, in the Conference Hall of the university.

The program to honor outstanding students is organized each semester to recognize and encourage the best students. Those who have shown effort in their studies during the semester and achieved the highest scores in Final Exams at the faculty or department level are awarded.

In this program, over 30 students from the faculties of Business Administration, Computer Science, Political Science, Civil Engineering, and Economics at the undergraduate level, as well as from the Master’s programs in Business Administration, Construction Engineering Management, and Data Science, were honored. These students achieved the highest scores in their faculties and departments during the Spring 2025, with over 20 of them receiving merit-based scholarships from Kardan University.

Merit-based scholarships at Kardan University are awarded to students who have achieved the highest GPA (4.0) at the faculty level.

The ceremony began with a welcome address by Mr. Sayed Enayatullah Suhrabi, communication officer at Kardan, followed by the recitation of verses from the Holy Quran by Mr. Ashabuddin Halimi. Subsequently, Mr. Khawaja Jamshid Seddiqi, the Vice-Chancellor for Academic Affairs at Kardan University, congratulated the students and their families on their success and spoke about the achievements and future plans of Kardan University.

Afterward, several students from both the Master’s and Bachelor’s programs, along with their families expressed their gratitude to Kardan University for all its efforts and support.

Engineer Abdul Karim, a former senior advisor at the Ministry of Mines and one of the outstanding student’s family member, stated, “I have two children who studied at Kardan University, and now my grandchild is among the outstanding students. I am satisfied with Kardan University and I thank them.”

The ceremony concluded with the distribution of certificates and a prayer.
