Kardan University Hosts Adroit International Research Conference (AIRF) 2024

Adroit International Research Conference (AIRF), 2024, organized by Adroit Associates in collaboration with Kardan University was conducted successfully. Dr. Ahmad Khalid Hatam, Chancellor Kardan University; Mr. Ahmad Hamid Popalzai, the Country Representative of Adroit Associates; representatives from various ministries, researchers, professors, students, and guests from national and international organizations attended the event.

In this conference, dozens of researchers from various countries such as Ukraine, Ethiopia, Kazakhstan, and Afghanistan submitted their papers, focusing on Health and Agriculture aspects, and after the evaluation; some of them were selected to present their papers either in person or online.

The conference begun by recitation of the Holy Qur’an by Sayed Enayatullah Suhrabi, Communication Officer at Kardan University. And then, Mr. Ahmad Hamid Popalzai, the Country Representative of Adroit Associates, started the conference with introductory remarks.

Following the opening remarks, Dr. Ahmad Khalid Hatam, Chancellor of Kardan University, delivered a keynote speech on socio- economics challenges to set the stage for subsequent presentations by various researchers.

This two-day Conference addressed Socio-Economic Challenges in Conflict-Affected Areas with special focus on Food Security and Sustainable Agriculture. The conference is an attempt to foster comprehensive dialogue on and innovative solutions for development challenges faced by conflict-affected communities, such as Afghanistan, by conducting empirical research.

Sarbajeet Mukherjee, Assistant Professor at Kardan University says about importance of the conference; addressing the climate change dimension: “Well, to have more of such discussions where we will be able to put through the new definition of security. This include nothing with guns and bullets but all about human security and its various aspects including, climate change”.

The conference comprised of keynote speeches, panel discussions and presentation of papers on thematic areas; and followed by an engaging Q&A session to enhance understanding of the presented researches.

Furthermore, the conference concluded with closing remarks by Mr. Ahmad Hamid Popalzai, the Country Representative of Adroit Associates, and a certificates and awards distribution ceremony.

Kardan University considers this event part of its mission to present solutions and mechanisms to address challenges in the scientific, social, and economic fields within the community.
