The Strategic Planning Taskforce (PTF) meeting started with welcoming remarks of Chancellor Roeen Rahmani, and review and approval of past meeting minutes followed by the review of the meeting agenda. The COO shared the updates on Taskforce priorities and progress for the forthcoming stages of Kardan University’s Strategic Plan (2021-2025).

The Department Leads shared their progress on their Internal Strategic Assessment Process with present PTF members and shared their assessment mechanisms and approaches toward data gathering as well as the remaining stages and upcoming steps of stakeholder consultations. The responsible departments have identified the participants and the applicable consultation process and methods and have head started the process.

It was proposed for the leads to design and generate presentations that would capture exactly a five-years picture and vision for Kardan University and that among the proposed Strategic Objectives, Strategic Initiative and Key Actions, there should be one main strong idea – a great broad Vision. It was also proposed by the Chancellor for the leads to not limit their vision to current context of Kardan University while developing the objectives, initiatives and key actions, as major changes would occur to the physical as well as academic contexts of the university.
