The Faculty of Economics at Kardan University organizes a series of virtual seminars for students taking online classes. Professors from renowned universities in the US, UK, and Australia will conduct online sessions on different topics.

Dr. Nematullha Bizhan will deliver the first Virtual Seminar on the Impacts of COVID-19: Economy in the World and Afghanistan, on Wednesday, April 22, 2020, at 2:00 PM, through Zoom Meeting Application.

Students of Economics Faculty, including MBA, BBA & BSc. Economics can participate in this online session and benefit from the rich insight and industry experience of the guest
speaker.

Dr. Nematullah Bizhan has a Ph.D. in Political Science and International Relations from Australian National University and an MA in Development Economics from Williams College, USA. He is a Lecturer in Public Policy at the ANU and also a Senior Research Associate with the Global Economic Governance Program, Blavatnik School of Government, Oxford University.

Dr. Bizhan is a member of the steering committees of both South Asia in World Politics Section of the International Studies Association (ISA) and the Oxford Network of Peace Studies (OxPeace). His research interests include public policy, international development, state fragility, and state-building as well as post-conflict reconstruction.
