Kardan University's Department of Economics Conducts a Competition on the Virtues of the Holy Month of Ramadan

Kardan University's Department of Economics continued the series of its Annual Ramadan Competition among university students. The Competition on the Virtues of the Holy Month of Ramadan was conducted on April 15, 2021, at the Taimani campus conference hall to help the students advance their Islamic studies.

In this competition, students were asked questions from the book "70 Questions & Answers," written by Muhammad Bin Saleh Al-Munjjid. From 120 registered students, 20 were selected for the final round of competition from different departments. After a tough competition, the Business Administration students secured the first position and received AFN 12,000 reward from the university. Civil Engineering students secured the second position, and the students of Political Science and International Relations secured the third position in the context of Islamic studies.

"Such competitions help the students advance their Islamic studies and create a motivational platform for them to compete with each other," said Qais Mohammadi, the Academic Administrator for the Department of Economics.
