Kardan University Library Hosts a Virtual Debate Competition

Kardan University library hosted a virtual debate competition on Afghanistan’s Peace Process on Thursday, January 28, 2021. The Competition was held between four National Universities; Kardan University, Kabul University, Herat University, and Mawlana Mohammad Jalaluddin Balkhi University. Zabihullah Barakzai, Nasir Naimee, Mujtaba Arshia, Nisar Ahamd Anwari, Nargis Alokozay were the five judges for the debate competition.

The purpose of this debate competition was to promote the culture of debating, critical thinking, research skills, and practice of reciprocity among youth.

Participants of this Competition include Ahmadullah Azizi and Donya Kochai from Kardan University, Khujasta Danishjo, and Aliaqa Fayyaz from Kabul University, Fazel Tawab Wardak and Khoban Saleh from Herat University, and Hamayoon Frotan and Parasto Ahmadi from Mawlana Jalaluddin Mohammad Balkhi University. The participating teams argued on the different aspects of the peace process of Afghanistan.

The competition winners were Ahmadullah Azizi and Donya Kochai from Kardan University. Khoban Saleh from Herat University became the best speaker of the Competition.

Kardan University continuously attempts to organize constructive competitions to build their public speaking skills and express their ideas eloquently.
