Kardan University Becomes a Member of the Advisory Board on Economic Analysis of the Ministry of Economy

With efforts by the Kardan University’s Faculty of Economics, Following the Economics Minister, Mr. Mustafa Mastoor’s visit of Kardan University, and signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the two institutions, Kardan University has been accepted as a member of the Advisory Board on Economic Analysis of the Ministry of Economy, endorsed via article No. 16/12.

Mr. Qais Mohammadi, the Academic Administrator for the Economics Department, and the recipient of the ACBSP 2019 Teaching Excellence Award for South Asia will be participating in the board’s meetings as an honorary member.

Talking about the membership, Dr. Sayed Abdul Moiz, Dean Faculty of Economics, said, “Kardan University’s honorary membership of the Advisory Board on Economic Analysis at the Ministry of Economy is an excellent achievement for the University and the academic society of Afghanistan at large.

Kardan University appreciates the trust that the Ministry of Economy has put in it, and promises that, as a leading higher education institution, the University is committed to playing an active role in this board,” he further added.

Dr. Moiz also stated that initiating such joint initiatives not only enhance collaboration between academic institutions and the public sector but also result in economic development and prosperity of the country in the long-term.
