Mr. Roeen Rahmani, Chancellor of Kardan University and Mr. Lutfullah Stanikzai, Chief Executive Officer of Afghanistan Cricket Board signed two Memoranda of Understanding (MoU) on Sunday, November 3, 2019.

Based on the MoUs, Kardan University will serve as the main jersey sponsor of Afghanistan Cricket team for the T20I series against West Indies to be played in Lucknow, India.

Kardan University also committed to accepting ACB staff into graduate and undergraduate programs offered at the university as well as organizing short-term capacity building programs for ACB employees. Kardan University will also provide scholarship grants for ACB employees in masters, undergraduate, and English language programs.

Mr. Rahmani expressed his gratitude by signing the MoUs with ACB and promised that Kardan University will sponsor Afghan National Cricket in sports events in the future as well. In his speech, the Chancellor said, “we will provide various educational and capacity building programs for ACB employees”.

“Our mutual cooperation with Kardan University will be long-lasting, and based on the MoUs, ACB will provide all the required technical training to Kardan University students,” said Mr. Lutfullah Stanikzai, Chief Executive Officer of ACB.

It is worth mentioning that Kardan University Cricket Team is in great shape and won Inter-university T20 Tri-Series Cricket Championship sometimes ago.
