Kardan University Launches New Issues of its Economics & Management Sciences as well as Social Sciences & Humanities Journals


Kardan University Launched Kardan Journal of Economics & Management Sciences Volume 2, Issue 1 & 2, and Kardan Journal of Social Sciences & Humanities Volume 2, Issue 1 during a special ceremony on Thursday, December 5, 2019, at Conference Hall Taimani Campus.

The purpose of the ceremony was to recognize the hard work of the University researchers and the support provided by the Department of Research and Development. The research teams had conducted their research on critical topics that are highly relevant to Afghanistan’s current socio-economic situation.

Mr. Roeen Rahmani, the University Chancellor, said, “since the establishment of Kardan University, we have had great achievements, especially in research, innovation, and creativity. We take the pride to carry on this mission to generate knowledge, improve the quality of education, and positively influence the education sector in Afghanistan.”

“Conducting research is significantly important in strengthening the academic standards in a country. To sustain in the academic world, you have to publish high-quality content,” said Mr. Wani, Coordinator, Research and Development Department at Kardan University.

Research topics explored by students and faculty members included ‘Trade liberalization in Afghanistan’, ‘Repatriation of Afghan Refugees from Pakistan’, ‘Comparative Analysis of Credit Management Practices in Public and Private Banks in Afghanistan’, and more.

Kardan University continuously invests in research and development initiatives by persuading both young and experienced researchers to explore new areas and come up with practical solutions to the current issues.
