Kardan University’s Dean of Faculty of Economics Participates in A Virtual Forum on Change Management for A More Inclusive World

Dr. Abdul Moiz Mirzada, Dean of the Faculty of Economics at Kardan University, attended the Global Business School Network’s (GBSN) virtual cross-border forum, also known as Collab on “The Importance of Pursuing Change for a More Inclusive World,” which was organized on March 4, 2021. Cross-Border Collabs are exclusive gatherings for GBSN members, focused on engaging the community to tackle some of the greatest challenges of our time.

This session provided a place for GBSN members to be active participants in improving management and entrepreneurship education for the developing world. Topics discussed during this session were guided by feedback from the GBSN network and ranged from current issues of online learning during the COVID-19 pandemic to automation and emerging economies.

“Intellectuals in Afghanistan must contrive to participate in such events for their improvement so that they can return the gained experience to the community,” said Dr. Mirzada.

Kardan University is the only University in Afghanistan that has the membership of GBSN, a nonprofit organization harnessing the power of a network of leading business schools to address the critical need for skilled managers, entrepreneurs, and leaders for the developing world by increasing access to quality, locally relevant management education.

The Faculty of Economics at Kardan University, along with the Office of International Affairs and Strategic Partnerships, works jointly to extend the University’s membership in internationally recognized business networks and help the University to develop comprehensive, institutional, or college-level partnerships that complement a wide range of academic programs at Kardan University.

Currently, Kardan University’s Bachelor’s in Business Administration (BBA) and Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) programs are accredited by the International Accreditation Council for Business Education (IACBE), an educational accreditation agency for college and university business programs in the United States.
