The Office of Alumni Relations organized a 'Virtual Alumni Social 2020' on Thursday, December 10, 2020, to have a year-end reflection via Zoom.
The event's primary purpose was to bring together the University's graduates virtually for networking, University updates, and entertainment. Furthermore, the office used this time to create a connection and reflect on the disruptions, challenges, and opportunities in 2020.
At the beginning of the event, Mr. Omar Kamal, on behalf of Kardan University, welcomed graduates. He shared the latest initiatives and updates from the University, including the University Strategic Plan (2021-2025), Alumni Magazine, 40 under 40 Awards Ceremony, and the National Conference on SDGs.
During the event, some alumni also expressed their feelings and shared their memories. "My classmates and I were among the first graduates from the Economics department. Studying at this University is an unforgettable and great experience. Today, when I hear about the University's successes, I feel proud to be a Kardanian"." said Dr.Kanishka Wahidi, BSc Economics graduate. He added, "The University has made a major transformation in my life, especially at the professional level."
The event concluded with the alumni reflections on their involvement and contributions to the growth of the University. In closing, the participants expressed gratitude to the Alumni Relations Office and all the staff involved in planning the event.
