Debate Competition on The Impact of Globalization on State Sovereignty

The Political Science Club, Department of Political Science & International Relations (PSIR), of Kardan University organized a debate competition on ‘The Impact of Globalization on State Sovereignty’ on July 23, 2020.

The two competing teams expressed their views on the prospects and consequences of globalization ( Pro-globalization & Anti-globalization) over state sovereignty. This Online-debate was a success story for the department and students in a critical COVID-19 affected time.

The department of PSIR always encourages students to participate and get engaged in such fruitful discussions and explore the many facts of different trends in this rapidly changing age. Such activities would allow participants to get well-researched facts regarding pressing issues around the world.

Towards the end, the designated jury expressed their encouraging views and insights to strengthen further the trend of debates and conduction of extra-curricular activities for the students of BPSIR.

The jury announced the Anti-globalization Team as the winner of the debate, and the top five position holders are as follows:
