The Office of Career Services at Kardan University organized the first-ever ‘Virtual Job Fair 2020’ on Sunday, July 12, at 10: 00 AM.
In the job fair 2020, eight organizations across different sectors attended the online session and shared around 50 job opportunities for students and alumni of the University.
Participating employers appreciated the University for organizing this event where they could find the best talents from the pool of students and alumni to fit their organizations. Most of the students connected via Facebook and had the chance to ask questions and seek guidance on how to apply for a vacancy.
“This was a great opportunity both for employers and job seekers amid these challenging times, as employers are seeking for best talents and students are in search of employment opportunities,” said Khushnood Nabizada, CEO and Founder of Khaama Press News Agency.
Following the job fair, a Job Readiness Training session was held on the second part of this event from 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM, where Mohammad Amin Hakimi, Career Services & Training Manager, provided instructions to students on how to write CV/ Cover and face job interviews.
Kardan University organizes such virtual events to connect students with the best employers in Afghanistan and help them find employment and internship opportunities in the public and private sectors.
