On November 3, 2018, an award ceremony was organized the Taimani campus’ Conference Hall. The event was attended by the university leadership, the academics team, award winning students and their family members.

A total of 88 students who had accomplished academic excellence in the spring 2018 semester were awarded with Certificates of Appreciation. Vice Chancellor Academics, Ms. Meena Rahmani, assured the awardees of Kardan University’s commitment towards improving the study environment even further and creating more opportunities for students to enhance their academic and professional competencies, like creation of more technical labs, organizing research and development programs, enabling students to participate in national and international events and much more.

Merit Scholarships are offered to 42 of the awardees by the Scholarships and Financial Aid Office for the fall 2018. This way they have a discount in their tuition fee during the fall 2018 semester. Mohammad Nadeem, a student of Computer Science, said (First of all I thank my parents for my upbringing and support throughout my academic career. Second, I’m proud to be a student of the best university in Afghanistan and am thankful to Kardan University for preparing me to be a productive member of the society).

Students’ parents, who were present at the occasion, also expressed their gratitude to Kardan University for the quality academic services.

The Academic Excellence Awards is one of the most important events on Kardan University’s calendar which is organized twice a year – at the end of each semester – with the objective of recognizing and appreciating students’ academic accomplishments.
