Kardan University celebrated its fifth Convocation Ceremony in Kabul last week. more than 600 new graduates were awarded degrees and a number of students were honored with God Medals for their academic achievements during their course of study. Several of the Faculty and staff members were also honored with Shields for their extraordinary services and dedication towards the university and high quality performance.
The Guest of Honor for the ceremony was the Minister of Higher Education, Ms. Farida Momand, who in her remarks to the gathering, praised the Kardan University’s contributions in disseminating quality education and having a major role in developing young professionals in different fields. She emphasized on the importance of the presence of private educational institutions in the education sector without which the Public institutions would not be capable to cope with the demand for higher education.
The ceremony was held in the Kabul Medical University’s Auditorium and was attended by graduates, their families as well as guests invited by graduates and by Kardan University. The event was well organized and graduates had a great time commemorating a major milestone in their educational and professional lives. We are sure that our graduates will look back with great affection to their time at Kardan, and will agree that their experience of university has been career and life-enhancing. Many will have made lifelong friends, and all have memories that will last a lifetime.
